This week has been eventful. Art and I went to Jake Flakes Memorial Service. He is our daughter-in-law, Mindy's father. He was a very kind and loving father and husband and public servant.

I took 12 young children to the Kung Fo Panda movie for grandma days. That was fun!!! We took up and entire row. I sure wish I had a camera. It was okay until afterwards when the kids started going different directions. AAAGGGGHHHHH!! We went to Wendy's for lunch and then to swim at the Schnieders. What a day!!!

Statements that made us laugh

A* Heather said "Anna, you almost pushed me into that car!!! Anna: "You are finally getting the point"
Annalyn was given the job to shovel sand. She said, "Piece of cake, I have been lifting weights and I have a six pack". Ten minutes she was moaning and groaning.
At family home evening we were having a discussion about the second coming. I asked "Why would we want to to be resurrected in the morning of the first resurrection?" Art said,"Shorter line".
B * Hayley: "That is a picture of me beating Anna at stick pulling". Anna: "No that is a picture of me letting you beat me at stick pulling"
C* Annalyn had an interview with a member of the bishoric today. He asked Annalyn if she had been involved in drugs or alcohol or violence lately. Annalyn: "Not lately".
D* Then the Counselor in the Bishopric asked if Annalyn had any struggles he could help her with. Annalyn: Yes, I have a problem. My mom won't let me get my drivers permit yet. He told her he would see what he could do.
E* This is the same kind of manipulation tactics that Annalyn used when she wanted a cell phone. Annalyn changed her sisters ring tone on their cell phones. When the phones rang it was annalyn's voice begging for a cell phone.
We went Christmas shopping with Shannon and Aaron (married) and they were in the back seat. Annalyn and I were in the front. Shannon and Aaron started teasing each other (typical) and Annalyn said "Don't make me come back there"!
